     The review for this comic book is really simple. If you like this cover by Alex Ross than buy it. If you don't, then this is an easy issue to pass on. As with any milestone issue whether it be #100, #200 or #600 there's always more involved than just your normal story. The two main bonus highlights involved in this issue are a complete comic book cover gallery of every Cap Issue in existence and a cool insert called "My Bulletin Board" by Joe Simon. Simon uses his time is this issue to give the reader an inside look at what went into making an American icon. Little things like how the shield was suppose to be drawn and the proper placement of the A on Steve Rodgers head and the star on his chest. As for the cover gallery it serves as a one stop reference guide to know what all 600 issues of Captain America look like. And with this knowledge you can see that it was right around issue #428 that the road that got Captain America where he is today began.
    
     Yes, I'd say for the last 16 years the storylines of Captain America have been complete crap and all the recent work inside issue #600 supports this. The whole assassination story is easily one of the worst in comic book history and maybe someday someone will get the clowns that are running Marvel out of there, but for now we can at least enjoy an amazing cover by Alex Ross to help remember a time when Captain America was someone to believe in and rout for.
